It is those encounters with Russel that we actually grow as Christians. Christian education doesn't teach you how to respond to a man who says I have fallen so many time I think I will just stay down. I guess that is because Christian education doesn't teach you to love. You have to jump into a mess with someone to find out just how deeply you can love someone you have only met once or twice . . . just how deeply you can love Jesus. Keep it up.
